About two weeks ago, my Oneida dust collector motor went out. It is one of their smaller commercial units and the motor is about 9′ off the ground.
So, I disassembled the dust collector. It is a cyclone style, so the collector bin and the conical section above it had to come off. then a cylindrical section about a foot long came off leaving the blower assembly – motor, impeller and housing – suspended from its bracket high off the floor.
